Discover the best of British Vintages with Luxury Cotswold Rentals

For those still looking to put some fizz into the summer, Luxury Cotswolds Rentals have created a beautifully British weekend away for wine enthusiasts. Surrounded by the vines on the Dryhill Estate, guests booking to stay at Dryhill House with Luxury Cotswold Rentals will have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy an atmospheric tasting experience, led by award-winning local winemakers, Sixteen Ridges. Guests will learn about the winemaking process, how to taste it and how to make it fizz, as well as designing their own labels, neck foil and label seals to take home.

Just five miles from Cheltenham, this is a wonderful Cotswold location to get a deeper understanding of English wines on the rise, taste them and to admire the stunning views of the Malvern Hills, knowing that the sparkling wine was produced just 40 minutes away in the historic town of Ledbury.

Dryhill Estate has three properties available to rent – the main house (sleeping 10), the Cottage (sleeping 2 – 4) and the Little Lodge (sleeping 2 – 4) making it the perfect spot for both couples, or larger groups of friends. The 400-year-old farmhouse was built on the site of an ancient Roman villa and vineyard, and the current owners took full advantage of this heritage by planting 2,000 vines on the land in 2015. Sixteen Ridges will be making the first Dryhill Estate vintage in 2019.

The 14 acres of private land and mature terraced gardens are filled with fig, clematis and rambling roses, and are perfectly positioned for epic views and sunsets – sit back and relax with a glass of Sixteen Ridges Pinot Noir as the evening draws in.  The property also boasts a vaulted Roman Cellar dining room – or nightclub – with cellar bar, a pizza oven in the vined courtyard garden, and a year-round hot tub.

Luxury Cotswolds Rentals offers an exclusive two-hour Sixteen Ridges wine tasting programme at Dryhill House for £200. This includes wines and guided tasting for all house guests.

Prices start from £2,000 for 3 nights or £3,000 for 7 nights in Dryhill House (sleeps 10).
