Sofitel London St. James has collaborated with iconic brand SMEG to bring a new experience to their afternoon tea scene with a ground-breaking new experience ‘Afternoon Tea Avec SMEG’. Offering a unique blend of Sofitel’s French and vibrant culture with SMEG’s celebrated designs and Italian heritage.

The Rose Lounge will be adorned with Smeg’s signature appliances, serving as captivating decor and pivotal in crafting select dishes tableside to provide an imaginative and theatrical experience.

Pastry Chef Lerrick Coelho’s menu includesa selection of savouries, such as  Cheese Chilli Panini,  Scottish Smoked Salmon with Dill Creme Fraiche on Beetroot slice, and a Truffle Egg Mayonnaise Sandwich on wholewheat bread. Smeg’s Italian heritage continues to influence the menu, with a selection of sweets such as, a fig and mascarpone Maritozzi, a Milanese Rum Panettone, served with freshly whipped Chantilly Cream from Smeg’s iconic SMF03 stand mixer and Affogato with coffee served from Smeg’s barista quality EGF Espresso Machine.

Priced at £70 per person, £80 with a glass of Champagne, and £40 for Children’s Afternoon Tea.

Festive Afternoon Tea at the Iconic St. Ermin’s Hotel

This season sees St Ermin’s Hotel release their new Festive Festive Afternoon Tea. Inspired by seasonal ingredients from the hotels very own rooftop kitchen garden, the new Festive Afternoon Tea presents traditional, freshly baked scones alongside beautifully presented seasonal sweet treats, including mini-Christmas cakes, Chestnut and cranberry macarons, Chocolate and cherry snowballs, White chocolate, pistachio and raspberry slice and Vanilla panna cotta with pomegranate jelly.

Along with savoury Yuletide themed sandwiches – Smoked turkey and cranberry, Beef pastrami with sauerkraut and Butler’s Secret Cheddar Cheese, St Ermin’s Gin smoked salmon with lemon crème fraiche, Cornish brie, roasted red peppers and fig relish and Crayfish and avocado with sun blushed tomatoes and rocket.

Priced at £45 per person or £52 per person with a glass of Champagne. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are also available. A children’s Afternoon Tea is available from £24 per child.

‘Santal’ Festive Afternoon Tea at Great Scotland Yard Hotel

Celebrate Christmas time with a Festive ‘Santal’ Afternoon Tea served in The Parlour at Great Scotland Yard Hotel. This seasonal menu is available daily from 27th Nov 2023 – 7th Jan 2024 and features a stunning selection of Christmas-inspired treats.

In partnership with iconic perfumery Floris London, and based on the Floris scent ‘Santal’, the Festive Afternoon Tea is a seasonal spin on their traditional Afternoon Tea menu.

Guests are invited to tuck into a delightful array of Christmas-inspired sweets and savouries, including; Turkey, cranberry remoulade on brown bread, Chestnut stuffing and Montgomery cheddar Yorkshire Pudding, Bergamot and spiced milk chocolate Christmas pudding and Cassis snowman and Cardamon and orange Baubles, this afternoon tea will allow guests the opportunity to explore this exclusive scent whilst enjoying the flavoursome afternoon tea.

Priced from £59 per person or £70 per person with a glass of Champagne. Guests can also book an Infinite Champagne booking for £89 for an hour and a half.

The Stage at The Londoner is offering a magnificent Festive Afternoon Tea, complete with all the classic accompaniments and artisanal cakes inspired by the season’s joys.

Crafted by Executive Pastry Chef, Sarah Mountain, the sweet treats include Festive Forest, a delightful patisserie made with Valrhona Guanaja mousse, passion fruit and ginger jam, popping candy, chocolate glaze and gold leaf speckle; and Igloo, combining Bourbon applecompote and cinnamon sponge hiding within a white chocolate ganache igloo, dusted in coconut snow. The perfect post-shopping, pre-theatreland pitstop.

Priced at £55 per person and comprises of champagne, luxury tea from The East India Tea Company, a selection of sandwiches, picture-perfect artisanal cakes, and freshly baked scones – all served to live music performed on The Stage’s grand piano to set the scene.
