Lord of Snow in Courchevel 1850

This winter season, Haute Montagne – the ultra-lux sister company to Bramble Ski – announces its launch into Courchevel 1850 with the brand-new opening of Lord of Snow; a showstopping ski-in, ski-out super chalet just off the famed Bellecote Piste.

A design project of four years, this architectural marvel has been led by acclaimed French architect Sophie Decoopman, famous for her ability to sensitively infuse tradition with refined modernity.  Spanning six floors and an impressive 1,200 square metres, every inch of the chalet has been meticulously designed.  Natural, traditional materials such as European Larch cladding, oak parquet flooring and lauze slate roofing, have been used in the chalet’s construction, tastefully harmonising with the alpine surroundings to deliver a refined, chocolate-box aesthetic.

Accommodating up to 14 guests in seven exquisitely appointed bedrooms, including a stunning master suite, it’s at the centre of the chalet which lies the heart; a unique collection of hand selected, antique furniture, many of which sourced from museums with some dating back to the 18th century.  Complementing these timeless treasures are new bespoke creations, including a custom dining table by L’Atelier des Freres, alongside contemporary designs from celebrated names like Francesco Binfaré and Patricia Urquiola.

After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the private in-chalet spa, complete with an indoor swimming pool, hammam, sauna, and state-of-the-art gym. For those seeking entertainment, guests can gather in the private cinema room for a cosy movie night or enjoy a game in the stylishly appointed Billiards room whilst a private chef prepares favourite canapes and cocktails.

With private catering, chauffeur service and housekeeping already a staple of luxury ski holidays, guests of Lord of Snow are offered a truly unparalleled level of service with Haute Montagne’s dedicated pre-arrival and in-resort concierge, where they can decide exactly what they want out of their trip; from adrenaline-fuelling Heli-skiing to breath-taking picnics in the snow, no request is too extravagant.

With its number one desired location, impeccable design, and world-class amenities, Lord of Snow by Haute Montagne adds to its prestigious portfolio of “superyachts in the snow” this season.
