Mayfair’s five-star luxury hotel, JW Marriott Grosvenor House London, invites guests to step into the enchanted world of The Magic Faraway Tree with a whimsical, limitededition afternoon tea served in the hotel’s elegant Park Room, perfectly timed to celebrate the highly anticipated new film adaptation of Enid Blyton’s timeless tale.
Available for a limited time only until 30 April 2026, The Magic Faraway Tree Afternoon Tea brings the story’s beloved characters and magical lands to life through an imaginative menu crafted by Head Pastry Chef Anthony Hurst.

Highlights include:
- Silky’s Sparkling Granita– spiced clementine granita with a sprinkle of fairy magic
- The Magic Faraway Tree– chocolate sponge with orange jam, encased in milk chocolate and topped with candy floss
- Moonface’s Mandarin Mousse– zesty ginger and mandarin mousse on a gingersnap and caramelised chocolate biscuit
- Honey ‘Pop’ Cake– oozy honey and pear compote with a honeycomb crunch
- Woodland Whispers– white chocolate woodland toadstool with cherry preserve
- The Land of Dreams– chocolate mousse crowned with a vanilla marshmallow cloud

Guests can also enjoy a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves, and an extensive range of Newby’s teas, with the option to toast the experience with champagne. A dedicated children’s afternoon tea is also available.
An exclusively illustrated menu by Mark Beech, illustrator of The Magic Faraway Tree series, is gifted to guests as a special keepsake.
