Set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts and is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of the orphanage.
Meanwhile, spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family but with the help of the other girls in the Orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous world of NYC.
