The five-star Sheraton Grand London Park Lane has unveiled a glamorous new afternoon tea and cocktail experience in official partnership with The Great Gatsby: A New Musical which has made its West End debut at the London Coliseum following its success on Broadway.

Developed in creative collaboration with the show, the limited-edition offering is designed to echo the spirit, storylines and standout moments of the musical, including its name, The Great Gatsby: Only Afternoon Tea being a playful nod to the show’s musical number Only Tea!
The afternoon tea and cocktails will be served daily from in the hotel’s original 1920s Palm Court — a Grade II-listed space that is one of London’s finest surviving examples of Jazz Age hotel architecture.

The afternoon tea begins with an imaginative selection of savoury and sandwiches, each a playful nod to Fitzgerald’s iconic characters and settings. Menu highlights include the Rockefeller Smoked Salmon Tart, topped with dill crème and cucumber pearls, East Egg Truffle Salad, a delicate mix of summer truffle and heritage egg; and the Gatsby Club, layered with roast chicken and pancetta.

Sweets bring a touch of drama, from the zesty Lemon & Jazz-mine Meringue Pie to Daisy’s Tropical Choux, filled with exotic fruit crémeux and finished with a passion fruit glaze. The gold-dusted Roaring Opera, with layers of rich pistachio and raspberry sponge, nods to Gatsby’s love of excess, while the Gatsby Forest Gâteau, rich with kirsch-soaked sponge and dark chocolate, delivers a decadent finale. Served with warm scones, clotted cream, preserves, and a selection of fine teas — or Champagne for those toasting like Gatsby.

A themed cocktail menu is also available in Palm Court. Cocktails include the Gatsby Gold Rush, a bold blend of WhistlePig Rye and kumquat cordial, nodding to Gatsby’s pursuit of fortune; the Green Light Martini, a crisp mix of chive and mint-infused gin and cucumber Lillet, symbolising eternal hope; and the Flapper’s Fizz, a playful raspberry and Champagne serve that captures the spirit of Gatsby’s most extravagant parties. For those looking for a non-alcoholic option, Daisy’s Delight offers a sparkling floral twist.
