Luxury Staffordshire Hotel Tastes Success

A Grade II listed stately home in Staffordshire has been served up a treat following a recent visit from an AA Hotel and Restaurant Inspector, who hailed the hotel as ‘very good’.

Hoar Cross Hall, which is nestled amidst 50 acres of sprawling countryside in the heart of Staffordshire, received its first AA Rosette award after the inspector dined in its Ballroom restaurant.

The inspector said: “The flavours and quality delivered were very good and comfortably met expectations for the award of an AA Rosette.”

The Ballroom restaurant serves a flavoursome combination of hearty dishes including roast striploin of British beef with red wine jus and pan fried fillet of seabass, amidst its soaring ceilings, William Morris wallpaper and spectacular garden views.

Adrian Pickard, General Manager at Hoar Cross Hall, said: “We’re thrilled to receive an AA Rosette award. It’s testament to all the hard work that goes on in and outside of the kitchen here at Hoar Cross Hall, led by our executive head chef, Tom Biddle. The Ballroom is an exceptional place to dine and we take great pleasure in offering a selection of quality dishes.

“We will continue to strive towards creating unprecedented culinary experiences for all of our guests and ensure their visit to Hoar Cross Hall will be a delightfully memorable one. Hopefully, upon our next inspection, we’ll be awarded with a second AA Rosette!”

As well as the exceptional dining offered at the Ballroom, Hoar Cross Hall also serves up mouth-watering Sunday lunches, quintessential afternoon teas and delicious dishes at its Henry’s café, which offers light bites, antipasti and sharing boards, together with all-day coffee, tea and cakes.

The hall also offers private dining packages for special occasions such as weddings and corporate events.
