Catering for those who are following a plant-based diet or simply looking to cut down on their meat and dairy consumption, the plant-based menus will be available across the entire resort, including a new tasting menu at the 3 AA Rosette Murrays restaurant.

Priced at £21.95 per person, the plant-based afternoon tea will be available on a permanent basis and includes a flavourful barbequed jackfruit slider with smoked vegan cheese, pickle and gherkin; beef tomato and avocado crumpet; and coronation hummus, spinach and red onion tortilla. The sweet course features a dark chocolate mousse; succulent carrot and orange slice; summer raspberry tart; and dainty coffee macaron. To finish there are fruit and plain scones topped with strawberry jam and vanilla flavoured coconut cream and a choice of speciality tea or freshly brewed coffee.

Whittlebury Park’s 3 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant Murrays has also created a special plant-based tasting menu, which will be available on a permanent basis. Priced at £79 per person and championing locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, it features velouté with Lincolnshire leek and potatorisotto with Jerusalem artichoke and Cambridgeshire kale, as well as indulgent desserts such as chocolate mousse and brownie with hazelnut.

WhittleburyPark has several sun-filled terraces for outdoor dining, and the resort operates on a touch-free basis, with food ordered and paid for via a dedicated web-based service and delivered to the table. The plant-based afternoon tea is available in the resort’s Atrium Bistro, with stunning views across the hotel’s championship golf course and Silverstone Bar, which is adorned with Formula One memorabilia.

The hotel’s relaxed and contemporary Aston’s restaurant as well as the hotel’s luxurious spa will offer plant-based options on a permanent basis.
