Press for Champagne

Fizz at the ready as Searcys gets ready for its newest addition – the Searcys Champagne Bar Bar– set to open inside the iconic Battersea Power Station on Wednesday 18th October 2023. Bringing Searcys’ expertise in all things champagne south of the river, expect an extensive menu of bubbles and English sparkling wine, paired with seasonal small bites and platters.

Located on Level 1 in the Power Station’s Art Deco Turbine Hall A, near Lift 109, the bar will feature plush, deep velvet seating, polished brass detailing and a striking marble topped bar, while the walls will be adorned with three specially commissioned art pieces with a Searcys’ twist by celebrated artist Kristjana Williams.

With an extensive collection of champagne by glass, bottle or magnum, guests will be able to enjoy a glass at the touch of a button with ‘Press for Champagne’ buzzers at each table – inspired by the signature buzzers at sister site, Searcys Champagne Bar at St Pancras International. Champagne aficionados will be able to indulge in a selection of fizz from Champagne Grandes Marques and small growers, with monthly tasting specials, along with a concise selection of English sparkling wines and champagne cocktails.

Menus will celebrate the best of seasonal produce with a choice of seafood delights from Rock and Native oysters to the Searcys Shellfish platter. Other seafood delights on offer include the Searcys signature prawn cocktail and Searcys own smoked salmon, along with regularly changing specials, plus light and healthy salad options.

The new bar will also host a range of masterclasses and experiences as part of Searcys series of ticketed events, ranging from mixology classes to champagne masterclasses, as well as group packages.
