5*Great Scotland Yard Hotel, London, have launched a sumptuous multi-sensory afternoon tea available from now until September 2023, in partnership with the iconic perfumery, Floris London.

Taking place in The Parlour, a room which draws on tales of Britain’s Victorian explorers, the multi-sensory summer afternoon tea has been inspired by the notes of the historical British perfumers luxury fragrance, Sirena. The afternoon tea has been created by the hotel’s Senior Sous Pastry Chef, Alexandra Ellis, allowing guests the opportunity to explore this exclusive scent whilst enjoying the flavoursome afternoon tea.

Sirena is an invigoratingly fresh and floral scent, this fragrance opens with a tropical blend of jasmine, marine and bergamot and is punctuated with pink peppercorn. Guests can experience these delicate, top notes whilst indulging in finger sandwiches such as ‘Smoked salmon, dill, crème fraiche on malted bread’ and ‘Egg truffle mayo and chives on pain de mie’. As well as dining on an assortment of divine tea cakes and pastries including ‘Rose and pistachio layered cake’ and ‘Summer berry choux and elderflower mousse’, as well as freshly baked warm scones.

Pricing starts at £59 for a standard booking and £70 for a Champagne booking. Guests can also book a Bottomless Champagne booking for £95 for an hour and a half.

Available to book 7 days a week from now – September 2023. On Sunday’s guests also have the opportunity to bring their dogs for Dog Afternoon Tea.
