Sail Around the World With Princess Cruises in 2019-20

Princess Cruises has announced that its 2019-20 sailings to worldwide destinations including Asia, the Caribbean, South America and Panama Canal are now on sale.

The voyages – which feature Caribbean cruises on Princess’ newest ship, Sky Princess, and the line’s first sailings to Antarctica in seven years – include:

Asia

45 departures on Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess, both with a 2,670-guest capacity and tailored for the Asia market. The ships will call at destinations including Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, South Korea and Malaysia. 23 itineraries are available, ranging in length from three to 25 days.
There will be an opportunity to see the Annular Solar Eclipse off the coast of Malaysia on December 26, 2019 and a New Year’s Eve late-evening departure from Hong Kong

Caribbean

Princess’ newest ship, the 3,660-guest Sky Princess, which launches next year, will sail its maiden Caribbean season. The ship starts its season in December 2019 with a three-day inaugural cruise, which will be followed by a series of seven-day voyages.
A total of five ships, offering ten itineraries and 119 departures, will cruise the Caribbean. As well as Sky Princess also setting sail are the 3,560-guest Regal Princess, 3,140-guest Caribbean Princess, 3,080-guest Crown Princess and 670-guest Pacific Princess.

South America

14 departures including a return to Antarctica, the first time the line has called at the continent since 2011. As such, Princess now sails to all seven continents of the world
Two ships will sail South America: the 2,200-guest Island Princess and 2,000-guest Coral Princess, which will make its maiden season. A choice of 14 departures, 31 destinations and 18 countries are on offer, with voyages departing from Fort Lauderdale, Santiago or Buenos Aires.
Nine itineraries will be on offer, ranging in length from 14 to 58 days.
Included in the itineraries is a 58-day voyage that circumnavigates the continent and offers the opportunity to visit landmark sites and events such as Easter Island, Rio’s Carnival, Machu Picchu, the Iguazú Falls and Patagonia

Panama Canal

The 3,080-guest Emerald Princess will sail its maiden Panama Canal season. The ship will traverse the new Agua Clara locks on the Atlantic side of the canal as well as the new Cocoli Locks on the Pacific Side, which opened in June 2016.
A total of five ships will sail the Panama Canal, offering six itineraries and 36 departures. As well as Emerald Princess also setting sail are Caribbean Princess, Coral Princess, Island Princess and Pacific Princess. They will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver.

Overnight stays will be available in destinations including Hong Kong, Rio, Buenos Aires, Lima, St. Thomas and Cozumel

Departing Sunday January 20, 2020 ports of call include Punta Arenas, Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), Cape Horn scenic cruising, Antarctic Peninsula scenic cruising, Falkland Islands (Stanley) and Montevideo.
