Hidden away on the southern shore of Tierra Bomba island, just 30 minutes from Cartagena, Colombia, Blue Apple Beach is an exclusive beach club and hotel. Inspired by a combination of local Colombian vibrancy and the old-world chic of clubs such as Anjuna (Eze, France), Club 55 (St Tropez) and Beso Beach (Ibiza), life at Blue Apple is about escaping to enjoy lazy days and nights in a Caribbean island paradise. The focus is on great food, washed down with plenty of provençal rosé and delicious cocktails, all set to a tropically inspired soundtrack. There is a cosy, laid-back, island vibe where, a far cry from a tourist-trap, locals and in-the-know visitors to Cartagena enjoy lazy days, music and great food in a beautiful setting.
Guests can experience Blue Apple for the day with a Day Pass and enjoy the lively poolside vibe or lay back and forget the world on the island’s deserted beach. A seasonal menu inspired by Mediterranean favourites and local, Colombian-Caribbean specialities offers up healthy, simple beach food such as paellas, seabass & coconut rice, ceviches and carpaccios served by a charismatic local team who provide attentive, but relaxed personal service. At Blue Apple Beach music is food for the soul, and there is a carefully curated soundtrack inspired by tropical island life taking guests on a musical journey through soul, blues, and disco, to electro, house, reggae and calypso.
Blue Apple Beach House is a converted private home available for for those looking to live the private island life. It offers five stylish bedrooms and five independent cabanas. The design has a real sense of place, having used local architectural techniques and materials to blend seamlessly with the island landscape. By day, they receive automatic VIP status at Blue Apple’s hip beach club, with complimentary access and reserved sunbeds.
Visitors can spend days lounging on the beach or by the pool, sipping on cocktails, enjoying a massage, mani, pedi or reflexology session.
