An Autograph Collection Hotel, Hotel Xenia, located in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea, has created the class especially for hen parties – ideal for beginners, where the hotel’s bartenders and mixologists will teach guests everything they need to know about mixology and the art of making a great cocktail!

A fun and interactive class – great for small hen groups looking for something a little different, guests will learn industry tips and the knowledge needed to create their very own cocktail, as well as old favourites, like a classic Manhattan.

Wild about Game

Wild and Game, the not for profit business that is working to put game more fully on British menus, has launched a new range of game pies.

Inspired by pork pies, the new pies have a layered filling of pheasant breast, grouse breast and Wild & Game’s grouse pate, topped off with bacon. They are made using a pork pie pastry and intended to be eaten cold.

Available in two sizes: 160g (£2.29) for one person and 454g (£7.49) that is designed to be cut up and shared. Available to buy from www.wildandgame.co.uk 

Sugar Swap

Switch those sugary and calorific drinks for delicately refreshing and flavoursome sodas. Crafted with distilled essences to create a contemporary balance of flavour, The London Essence Company’s Rhubarb & Cardamom and NEW Elderberry & Hibiscus and White Peach & Jasmine** sodas have been designed for straight-up sipping. The sparkling sodas are elegant and light, at under 20kcal per 100ml, without compromising on taste.

Laura Ashley The Tea Room 

Recently opened  Laura Ashley The Tea Room at The Chace Hotel on London Road, Coventry, is tastefully decorated in signature Laura Ashley style, with its striking Belvedere Midnight wallpaper is complemented by Pale Silver and Pistachio painted walls in this contemporary space filled with fresh green hues and accents of blue. The Tea Room overlooks the hotel’s landscaped gardens, and ample free parking is available for visitors.

Guests can expect traditional afternoon tea favourites, including a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and fruit preserves, and irresistible cakes and pastries.
