Nestled high above Oxford Street on the 6th floor of the historic flagship John Lewis & Partners, 1864 Rooftop Bar & Kitchenhas been transformed into a winter haven, with views over the famous Christmas lights, featuring festive heated igloos for up to eight guests, alongside chalet-inspired private wooden huts.
Designed to create the perfect escape from the bustling city below, the igloos allow guests to indulge in a sumptuous festive feasting menu while staying warm and cosy.
Parterning with Grey Goose to serve a selection of bespoke winter cocktails that blend premium vodka with seasonal flavours, including a Chocolate Orange Martinimade with Grey Goose Orange vodka, BriottetCreÌme de Cacao, chocolate syrup, Benugo espresso, and orange bitters. Our indulgent Grey Goose Hot Chocolate is sure to warm the cockles. Other seasonal sips include Winter Queen,made withPlantation rum, Xante Pear cognac liqueur, Benedictine DOM, and oriental sencha; and a Decadent Mulled wine, laced with Burnt Faith Brandy. There will also be a selection of non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails.
Benugo chefs have curated feasting menus featuring sumptuous dishes: Morcilla pigs in blankets; Butternut squash and truffle risotto; Braised beef cheek, creamy polenta, and carrot crisp; and Chocolate and olive oil mousse with cherry compote.
The regular menu features a selection of small plates including Chorizo croquetas with Manchego; and Sweetcorn tarragon fritter with smoked chilli salsa; alongside larger plates including Pulled chicken, shredded kale, gem hearts, crispy pancetta, Piedmontaise dressing, aged Parmesan, and chives.
