Lollipop’s New Cocktail Experience: H-Division

Lollipop are proud to announce their new cocktail bar experience, H-Division, which will open in London this April.

The concept is already proving popular amongst Lollipop’s community with the ticket waiting list currently standing at just over 3,500.

This cocktail bar takes its cue from the mystery of a famous Victorian police station in East London: H Division. The police station will be opening up old unsolved cases and guess which is the first case? Of course, the Ripper case so that Chief Inspector Abberline can finally catch the seemingly untouchable culprit.

Lollipop’s H-Division plans to unlock the detective in you! It has enlisted some of the brightest experts in cocktail mixing to create an experience that enables you to discover the mysteries and often undecipherable and hidden cocktail preferences and desires of your own. The way you act and behave as a detective will lead to your personalised cocktails being made.

For a few months only, we are inviting a select group of patrons to try our new invention, which has the potential to revolutionise people’s approach to cocktail-making and of course drinking.

H-Division invites each guest to sit in the Victorian police station to solve this mystery while detecting their own “personality” into a small menu of ingredients.

This, coupled with odour and colour preferences will be the clues our patrons collect before using Morse code to transmit the ingredients to the “central unit” where a cohort of mixologists will expertly “map” out the ingredients into perfectly proportioned recipes.

At the end of the experience, guests will be given an envelope that holds their tailor-made and highly classified recipes to take home. These recipes will never be used again at H-Division, making the cocktail experience truly unique in every way.

We believe this will make H-Division one of the few bars that creates an immersive, signature cocktail experience, designed entirely and catered to the tastes, desires and personalities of the patrons.

“After breaking boundaries at The Bletchley, where patrons get to de-code themselves into cocktails, H-Division will lift the experience up a notch by gamifying the menu” said Seb Lyall, founder of Lollipop.

“Crafting cocktails from a myriad of ingredients requires mixologists who love to experiment? and consider their work to be art. As with all of our projects, we put a lot of effort into thinking about each and every detail,” Mr. Lyall added.

Lollipop is an immersive hospitality group with venues and experiences dotted all over London and abroad. Started in 2015 with only making viral cocktail experiences such as ABQ London, The Bletchley, The Bunyadi, the company rebranded its venues into “Funhouses” with every building housing multiple food and drink brands.

“With Chelsea Funhouse and Hackney Funhouse both operational since 2019, we are very excited to open our next big venue post Covid” he added.

Lollipop plans to open H-Division in Shoreditch, London this April for a few months only. This bar experience will be part of a larger venue, Shoreditch Funhouse, which will house a Nikkie restaurant and an espresso martini bar.

More details on Shoreditch Funhouse and its other two venues (Maikonita and Bar Oshin) will be sent to the press in due course.

H-Division will accommodate 40 people at a time. Customers will pay £39-£42 to enter this cryptic world of cocktails and have the opportunity to drink three cocktails designed by them and expertly created by our mixologists.
