Refined a la carte menu
New this month, Head Chef Javier Rodrigo Alviz has put together a refined a la carte dinner menu incorporating classic British dishes with Mediterranean flavours and Asian influence. Starters include Tuna Tataki with sesame, crispy leeks and apple aioli; Prawns and Langoustine Croquettes with kimchi mayo and Queen Scallops with coral puree and plankton oil. Main dishes include Cod with with fennel, mango, cherry tomatoes and basil; Rabbit served with chickpeas, spinach and Marzanino salad and Beef Fillet with Panadera potatoes and roasted piquillo peppers. Vegetarian options include Wild Mushroom and Basil Risotto, and an Aubergine Stew. Round off the meal with one of the decadent dessert options, such as Coconut and Vanilla Panacotta Martini, Banoffee Pie or a classic Warm Apple Tart with vanilla custard.
Served every Sunday from 12-5pm, diners can choose from Scottish Beef Sirloin with thyme Yorkshire puddings and horseradish foam; Lemon & Garlic Roasted Chicken with sage and chestnut stuffing; Pork Loin with apple sauce and crackling, or a Lentil, Mushroom and Spinach Wellington. Sides of goose fat roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and lashings of gravy accompany the dishes.
The refined feature bar serves a range of signature cocktails inspired by William Morris designs, including the fresh ‘Kensington Gardens’ with Hendrick’s gin, elderflower liqueur and apple juice and the warming ‘Honeysuckle’ mixing bourbon, maple syrup and cinnamon, alongside a comprehensive range of spirits, wine, champagne and soft drinks.
