American Soul legend, Alexander O’Neal, has announced an Essex show for 2019, as he takes his renowned live show and incomparable voice to the Brentwood Centre on Friday 1st February.
Originally signed by Prince as part of the band ‘The Time’, O’Neal came to prominence in the mid-80’s with his own brand of sophisticated Soul and RnB that led him to an incredible fourteen singles landing into the US Billboard Charts, including ‘If You Were Here Tonight’, ‘(What Can I Say) To Make You Love Me’, and the dancefloor-filling ‘Criticize’.
O’Neal’s second album ‘Hearsay’ brought him to UK attention, where it is certified an incredible triple-platinum, establishing him a devout fanbase. The album was re-recorded and released last year in celebration of its 30th anniversary, with new versions of the songs forming ‘Hearsay 30’, garnering critical acclaim.
