Tewkesbury Park set in 165 acres of undulating parkland and commanding far-reaching views of the Malvern Hills and beyond, has unveiled six brand-new Touch of Class Rooms.
All rooms come with a private fully-enclosed terrace, with a surrounding glass balustrade which allows you the luxury to relax in comfy chairs and look out across the magnificent Gloucestershire countryside. For convenience, rooms can be accessed via the terrace with a key, so guests don’t have to walk through the hotel if they wish to walk out on the hotel’s fabulous grounds.
Inside, rooms have been opulently appointed by reputed interior designer, ADS-Design, who have skilfullydrawn upon the Tewkesbury surrounds by working to subtly weave in warm country tones into fabrics and soft furnishings that complement carefully sourced modern fixtures and fittings, conveying a rich and distinguished countryside ambience, even down to ceramics made by local ceramist and artist Jane Overbury. All rooms have been fitted with wood flooring.
The creation of the rooms were carried out by local family firm, EG Carter of Gloucester, who have cleverlyutilized the property’s historic features, by respecting the original structures, yet have woven in a contemporary style. Keltie & Clark, distinguished Cheltenham-based garden designers have instilled a calming sanctuary to the terraces, providing the perfect accompaniment for a sun-downer!
In 2016 the hotel also completed an extensive four-year renovation with the addition of nine luxury historic suites, two new spa rooms, two meeting rooms, an Orangery, a Cocktail Lounge and the Cotswolds Suite – a glass façade events and wedding suite complete with magnificent views, a wood-fired pizza oven and terrace.
