Afternoon Tea, one of our favourite pastimes, a quintessential English tradition and one that is now offered in all sorts of curious guises has now come to Vesuvio at The Sharnbrook Hotel in Bedfordshire, adding a quirky twist they bring to your palette ‘The Vesuvio Italian Afternoon Tea’.
As the name suggests there is a definite Italian influence, the finger sandwiches and mini cakes have been replaced with traditional Italian favourites that include paninis, bruschetta and arancini along with sweet treats of tiramisu, chocolate lobster tail, limoncello posset and Nonna’s chocolate tartufo, along with of course, traditional warm scones.
Priced at £18.50 per person or £27.50 per person for bottomless prosecco this is an afternoon tea that’s well worth indulging in.
