Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, the five-star hotel and former flour mill on Giudecca island, is delighted to unveil a range of autumnal activities and experiences for the season ahead. Venice is at its very best during the autumn months, when the summer crowds have departed but the weather remains pleasant and mild, and there’s no finer destination in which to unwind than at this iconic canal-side retreat.
From a selection of spoiling new treatments at the award-winning eForea Spa to new seasonal dishes and cocktails across the stunning property’s F&B destinations and an assortment of excursions and events taking place in the city over the coming months, Hilton Molino Stucky Venice is the ultimate pick for a cosy city break this season.
Post-Summer Skin SOS at eForea Spa
Enjoying its own private entrance within the grounds of Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, eForea Spa has set the bar for wellness in the city and is a firm favourite of guests and locals alike. A relaxing hideaway overlooking the hotel’s garden, the spa includes a relaxation room, two fitness spaces with gym equipment, a sauna, a Turkish bath and therapeutic jacuzzi, with spa access available to book from 40 euros per person (aged 16+) for two hours. New for Autumn 2023, the spa has launched two new treatments designed to combat the effects of sun damage on post-summer skin. These include:
Hyperpigmentation Hero Facial – A complete facial overhaul designed to combat sun damage and hyperpigmentation, the skin is prepped with a deep cleansing session before an ultrasonic lightening peel combining lactic and hyaluronic acid with sandalwood, thyme and lemon is applied.
A stimulating massage and mask follows, complete with enzymes, burdock, erysium complex and acerola cherry to leave the face bright, glowy and hydrated. The treatment can also be combined with an additional hand treatment to treat any dark spots that may have appeared in this area.
Hydrate and Glow Tan-Extending Body Treatment – Created to help extend and revive the lifespan of that coveted summer tan, this body treatment starts with a coconut scrub to remove dead skin cells and bring out one’s inner glow. This is followed by a caffeine and Asiatic pennywort or gutu kola mud treatment to stimulate drainage and detoxification and finishes with an energising neck and shoulder massage and shower powered by extracts of brightening prickly pear, ginger and lemon.
Seasonal Dining at Bacaromi Restaurant
This Autumn, Chef Ivan Fargnoli and his talented brigade will serve up a slice of authenticity at Bacaromi, a contemporary take on the typical Venetian bacaro (a simple neighbourhood bar, where locals catch up over cicchetti and a glass or two of wine). The menu offers elevated interpretations of Venice’s best-loved dishes, from handmade pasta and creamy risotto to the finest cuts of meat and fish, all served alongside a carefully curated selection of local wines and craft beers.
A selection of new, warming seasonal dishes* join the menu this Autumn, including AsticeBacaromi – lobster sautéed with cabbage, pine nuts, raisins, onion cream, and balsamic apple – and Gnocchi con Canocchie, homemade potato dumplings with fresh mantis shrimp and a shrimp reduction.
Rustic, characterful décor evokes the warming atmosphere of a bacaro as soon as diners set foot in Baracomi, with antiques and curiosities adorning the walls and colourful mosaic tiled flooring. The original cast-iron pillars and exposed brick walls of the former flour mill conjure a sense of yesteryear while unique artisan lamps provide warmth and conviviality. Weather permitting, guests can also opt to dine al-fresco on Bacaromi’s magnificent canal-side outdoor terrace for a spot of people – and boat–watching!
Cosy Up with an Autumnal Aperitivo at Skyline Bar
There’s nowhere else in Venice quite like Hilton Molino Stucky Venice’s Skyline Rooftop Bar – the highest in the city – for soaking up the views while sipping on an autumnal Aperitivo! From this October, Head Barman Sebastiano Scarpa and his team of expert mixologists will shake up seasonal delights for guests to enjoy as they gaze out over the city of canals.
These include a warming Smoky Old Fashioned, a twist on the iconic after-dinner drink combining whiskey and apple smoke with aromatic dark chocolate, maple syrup, Peychaud’s bitter and fresh apple slices. For those who prefer their Aperitivo alcohol-free, the Prodigio mocktail celebrates the history of Venice as Europe’s link with the east. Blending non-alcoholic gin, amaretti, lagoon wildflower honey, lemon, chamomile and star anise, the mocktail enjoys sweetness, refreshing like a tea in the desert enjoyed along the ancient silk road.
Skyline’s Signature Cocktails – adored by Venetians and hotel guests alike – are the result of extensive research of ingredients and different mixology techniques. The tipples have been designed to perfectly compliment the famous Skyline vibes and accompany special moments at the rooftop as guests soak up the views and enjoy the pool.
