London’s latest 360-degree rooftop bar and restaurant Wagtail announces the launch of its Weekend Brunch experience, in partnership with Della Vite Prosecco, promising to deliver a first-class dining experience in the sky.
Running every Saturday and Sunday starting from this weekend, the Weekend Brunch offers a seasonal brunch menu with the best of British produce, including a sharing board and a selection of starters and main courses, with the option to include half a bottle or free-flowing Della ViteSuperiore DOCG or Rosé Prosecco. Guests will be able to enjoy brunch in the 9th floor dining room and East and West Terraces at Wagtail, with live entertainment and a backdrop of London’s most iconic landmarks including London Bridge, The Shard, Tower Bridge and, of course, Monument.
On arrival, guests will begin their culinary journey with a sharing board made up of cheese, cured meats and sourdough bread. There will also be an option to add an Oyster course which includes three market oysters and a Bloody Mary Shot.
Visitors can then select from a series of starters including the Crab Cake Benedict, which comes with a poached egg and Hollandaise, or 90-day Somerset Saxon Chicken Breast, accompanied with grilled baby gem salad, pecorino and anchovy dressing. Vegetarian options include Burrata and Parmigiano-Reggiano Fondue, which comes with a poached egg, shaved black truffle and croutons, or Salt-Roast Beetroot, alongside heritage tomato, sourdough bread and tofu aioli.
For the main course, guests can choose to indulge in Olive-Fed English Wagyu Rib-Eye with a fried egg and truffle hollandaise, 90-Day Somerset Saxon Chicken Thigh Waffle with fried goose egg and maple syrup, Crispy MangalicaPorchetta with pan-roasted ceps and sage, or Native Blue Lobster Roll with triple cooked chips. For those who prefer a meat-free alternative, the Artichoke Risotto with seasonable vegetables is guaranteed to tantalise taste buds.
All mains can be accompanied by a selection of sides including Triple Cooked Chips with Truffle Parmesan, Mashed Potatoes, Chargrilled Baby Gem, Foraged Mushrooms or Pan-Roasted Red Chicory. There are also vegan and plant-based options available on request.
Wagtail’s Weekend Brunch starts at £60 per person. Weekend Brunch with half a bottle of Della ViteSuperiore DOCG or Rosé Prosecco is £80 per person; Weekend Brunch with free-flowing Della ViteSuperiore DOCG or RoséProsecco for two hours is £120 per person.
