Celebrating Christmas at Heckfield Place

Heckfield Place is a beautiful Georgian family home lovingly restored to its historic origins. Heckfield is at the heart of a bountiful 438-acre estate that has been gently rewoven, connecting the House and grounds in a secluded corner of Hampshire less than an hour from London.

In the run up to Christmas, Heckfield Place offers a multitude of festive activities carefully curated to encourage community gatherings and seasonal sharing. Highlights include:

Festive Markets: day visitors and overnight guests alike are invited to gather together and enjoy a warming hot chocolate or mulled wine whilst strolling around Heckfield’s festive markets (7th, 13th, and 20th December) brimming with House-made creations. In the evening, visitors can cosy up and watch festive favourites from the Screening Room.

Wreath Making: with Heckfield’s resident florist, using a selection of preserved materials including dried flowers from Home Farm (1st and 6th December).

Festive Tablescaping:Heckfield Place invites guests to learn the art of tablescaping, and take their creation home, ready for the festive season (8th December).
